Located on the quiet and picturesque north end of Amelia Island, the condo is 2 blocks from the beach yet only minutes (2 miles) from downtown Fernandina Beach. Enjoy the beach without the higher costs of beach front rentals. Excellent location! Our Florida vacation condo borders Fort Clinch park on the West, with the ocean nearby to your North and East so there is only vehicle access from the South thus no through traffic. Great neighborhood having a large natural beach area with dunes. Main Beach is also nearby for those of you who prefer a more populated beach with lifeguards. The condo is approximately 1,200 sq ft in size with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It has two balconies, one balcony directly off the living/dining area (facing the ocean to your east) and the other a small private balcony outside the master bedroom facing a natural area of Fort Clinch State Park (in the background of the picture to the rear of the unit). The condo is an end unit on the second floor which gives you a little extra breathing room and privacy compared to most of the units in the complex. Within the complex are tennis courts and a swimming pool. It is fully furnished and equipped. The master bedroom has a new queen-size bed with pillowtop mattress and a connecting master bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a new queen bed and the third bedroom has a twin bed with a pull out trundle bed underneath (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children). The second and third bedrooms share an adjacent bathroom with a full tub and shower. The unit also has a full kitchen with appliances and a laundry closet with a full sized washer and dryer. Great view of the beach from your private back patio while getting quick access to both parking as well as the beach and pool. This is ground floor...so no messing with elevators. Perfect for a vacationing family or group. Master suite has king-size bed, second has queen, and third has two twins. Each Bedroom is really a suite- attached to large bath. Living room has sofa- not a fold out it would certainly work for a seventh. More photos available by e-mail. Living room,dining room, and all three bedrooms have 10 foot ceilings, and are nicely appointed. We have recently upgraded rugs,artwork, and bedspreads. So actual unit is even nicer than photos. Not your typical beach rental. Rates: $3095/week or $499/night March-August, $2295/week or $349/night Sept-February. We rent only Sat-Sat in March, April, and June-mid August.

description:Our Place at the Beach is a gorgeous Oceanfront duplex that has been renovated.The Main House sleeps 18 with 4bd/3ba plus 1 jacuzzi room. There is a king, 2 queens, and 1 full bedroom. There are 3 futons, and in the great room upstairs there is a full murphy bed. There is a large well equipped kitchen and a laundry room There are 3 decks which are ocean front. The Sunrise sleeps 16 with 5 bedrooms and 3 baths 2 of which have jacuzzies. there are 3 queen, 1 full and 1 set of twins plus a sitting room with a futon and the great room has a king murphy and a queen sleeper sofa. There is a large kitchen and dining room and a laundry room. The Sunrise has 3 decks which have a great ocean view. The house has linens supplied and all dishes, pots/pans,etc. We are sorry to report that the Tiki Hut was a victim of Hurricane Frances. We are two miles from Fernandina Beach's Center Street which is reminiscent of Key West with many tourist shops. We are on the north end of Amelia Island so it is not a busy beach. There are great seafood restaurants and lots of fast food places in the area as well as a couple of five star restaurants. Families have a geat time here. It is a beautiful place for weddings, anniversary celebrations, and birthday gatherings as well as accommodations for family reunions (catering available). We do private golf tournaments with banquet and trophies for individuals who wish to bring a golf group with them.

description:We think you will love our Non-Smoking condo as much as we do and will want to come back every year. We have decorated and maintained it as our second home, so lots of personal touches and upgrades are everywhere. This is not your typical rental condo with a bare minimum of furnishings. We actually plan on living here someday so we have spent time and money on making things nice. We think you will enjoy all the homey touches and you won’t have to pay more, just enjoy more. Every year you come back you’ll probably find something new or better. The Great Room is decorated in a nautical theme with original artwork and lots of yellow and blue. The floor is ceramic tile except for the downstairs bedroom which along with the rest of the condo is nearly new carpet. Each of the two upstairs bedrooms are spacious with their own private baths. The Master has a king-size bed and TV/VCR. The upstairs guest room has two twin beds and a full-size bath tub/shower. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and the bathroom for downstairs is a full-size bath with tub. You are only steps from the beach, the condo is actually pool-side so you walk around a building between us and the beach but you and your kids don’t cross any roads, just some grass and the board walk to the beach. And what a beach! In our opinion it is the best beach in the world, lots of sand and shells, miles long with great tide pools at low tide but still lots of sand even at the highest tides. You can swim, surf, use skim boards, sun, and even ride horses on the beach. On the way to or from the beach you walk almost by the pool. A short detour on the way back lets you cool off a little bit since the pool is partially shaded except around noon by all the beautiful live-oak trees surrounding the property. Only steps away are the free tennis courts. Just off the property there is everything else you would want to do, restaurants, shopping, museums, golf, boating, everything but traffic.
