description:Our vacation home is a small 20X30 cottage with cathedral ceilings in the living room. The cottage was designed and built about 15 years ago to take advantage of a lovely location surrounded by water. Sliding glass doors look out on the pond and spillway in two directions. The living room has a woodstove, comfortable sturdy furniture, including a pull out sofa that makes a double bed, some antiques, including kerosene lamps, that we used when we first built the cottage and had no power except agenerator. Now the house is fully electrified. The living room has a dining area and over the counter access to a small kitchen. Hand braided wool rugs are on the floor. One side of the living room adjoins a screen porch overlooking the pond and waterway. The porch contains a table and chairs and a charcoal grill. We eat on the porch as often as possible, because it's so beautiful. The kitchen is small, but fully equipped and functional. There is no dishwasher or TV. We have one bath with shower and tub. Upstairs is a good sized sleeping loft with a double four poster mahogany bed. We alsosupply a sturdy cot. Furnishings include antiques and hand hooked rugs. A large picture window looks into the woods and another window overlooks the pond. We swim from a sandy beach into a cove that links us with the larger pond of about 70 acres. The water is pristine. We do not fish, but people who do seem to enjoy it. The pond is stocked by the Fish and Game people with a species of lake trout. We have a canoe and a kayak that you could use. It is a very quiet area. There are only three full time residences and a few seldom used weekend homes on the northern and eastern shores of the pond. The cottage and our year round home are the only dwellings on the 105 acres we own on the eastern shore. The area abounds with wildlife. We often see moose, deer, otters, beaver, racoons and lots of birds. A bald eagle regularly soars over the pond and recently a parade of ten turkeys marched up the hill. A pair of loons returns eve...;

description:LONG LAKE CAMP - Waterfront, cable TV, washer/dryer, HUGE porch. I have a 4 season camp on Long Lake in Harrison Maine by Naples half way up Long Lake(and Sebago Lake/Brandy Pond). I am NOT a realtor and thus have NO hidden fees. It is on Cape Monday Cove and has a private dock (if you have your own boat or choose to rent one down the street). It does not have a sandy beach, however you can go to the common area 3 houses down the street or go for a quick drive. We typically take the boat out to the main lake and dive in. I do supply a canoe and row boat for your use. It has a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms on first floor (1 queen and 1 full), and 2 full beds and 1 twin upstairs in a large private room on 2nd floor. (Beds are new and comfortable). There are bathrooms on both floors. It has cable tv and DVD player, and gas grill. It is a 4 season house with a regular oil furnace for use if it gets cool at night. I also comes with a washer and dryer. It has a HUGE screened porch and horseshoes in backyard. See the pictures below. Available to rent by the week at $1200/week over the Summer (June - Sept.) Saturday to Saturday. However, I would reduce the rent to $1100/week for a 2 week rental, $1000/week for 3 or more weeks. Please no smoking inside, and no dogs.
