description:This chalet offers a relaxed vacation with many nearby activities. Located on the mountain across from the Road Runner Trail, in Viking Village at Sunday River Ski Resort. The L-shape living room/dining room combo offers a cozy environment for entertaining with more than one family. Summer is here and for those who do not like the cold, this is the time to get out and enjoy the moutains of Maine! Hikers will enjoy stepping out to hear the sounds of nature and decide to head up a Sunday River mountain or head to the Bethel Chamber of Commerce for hiking trails. Golfers can enjoy the challenges at the Sunday River Golf course or Bethel Country Club. For new experiences, swimming holes can be found in the area which are hidden and unknown to the general tourist. There are also many other things to do in Bethel which is only a 10 minute drive from the chalet. In additon to fine dining and boutiques for shopping, there is a movie theater, lazer tag, arcades, bowling, water slides and Ellie and Andie's workout world fitness center where walk-ins are welcome. The beautiful mountains of Maine and a comfortable atmosphere at our chalet will keep you coming back each year! In addition, Bethel and Sunday River has many events and activities throughout the spring time and summer. See their schedule for all events. They have many.
