The mansion was built by Joseph Courtemanche, a blacksmith and carriagemaker who made his fortune as the visionary who built the first electric power plant in the valley. Off the living room are the fully licensed Cocktail Bar with its original tin ceiling, the Chart room and our Fine Dining Restaurant which is open to the public & Inn guests for Dinner Tuesday thru Sunday.
