Nestled above the quaint town of Black Mountain in a stand of rhododendrons, dogwoods and hemlocks, this two bedroom, one bath remodeled cabin offers a stone breakfast patio, front porch swing, and an eat-in country kitchen. The World War II era cabin was remodeled with recycled woods from the property. The kitchen floor was redone with the old hemlock siding, poplar baseboard and window trim are from the barn, and rhododendron pickets and shelf supports are also from the property. ;

Rush Creek Cabin has 3 bedrooms with a downstairs den being a possible fourth. The large master bedroom has a luxurious private bath with a huge garden tub and a walk-in shower. The living room has a large natural stone fireplace and the cozy eat-in style kitchen has all new appliances. There are two upstairs bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with a twin/trundle that converts to a king bed. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is also a sleeper sofa in the recreation room and 3 twin size rollaway beds (located one per room) that can be placed anywhere needed. Outside the cabin, you can relax on the wrap-around screen porch or take a walk along nearby Broad River and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Comfy, cushioned wicker furniture makes it a perfect spot for reading a book on a quiet afternoon while the sunlight filters through the surrounding trees. This room is also furnished with Bob's musical instrument collection available for you to play and enjoy. We also have an activity room with TV, VCR, DVD, record player, old records from the 40's, 50's & 60's, for people to enjoy. Upstairs we have seven bedrooms which are all decorated in country decor and each room is different. All of the bedrooms have two double beds and two rooms have king-size beds. We have full baths with showers and tubs. The rooms are clean, cozy and cute. Outside we have a deck if you want to enjoy the cool air or if you want to smoke.;
