Durango is home to the only coal running train in North America. It is also 45 minutes from Mesa Verde national park. Durango is famous for kayaking, river rafting, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing. Our cabin is located in a small community called Forest Lakes. It has it's own private lake, no license necessary!Tennis and Basketball Courts!!! This vacation home has a ping pong table for your enjoyment. And hiking trails only feet from our front door steps! Please come up the mountain to enjoy the Mogollon Rim at this beautiful,secluded, romantic, Forest Lakes year-round large log cabin (house1400 sq.ft. )7500 ft. elevthe perfect retreat from stress Only 130 miles NE of Phoenixcloser than Flagstaff and higher in elevation only 40 miles east of Payson1 mile south of Hwy 260 on cul-de-sac Ponderosa pine forested acre lot. Beautiful wood paneled high ceiling in Great Room with full kitchen, dining room and new couch and loveseat in front of the pellet stove. There is a full bathroom, 2 large downstairs bedroomseach with king bed, spacious loft with 2 twin beds, 1 double bed and twin rollaway. We just added a Port-a-Crib and bedding for small infants. The covered porch has a picnic table, outdoor charcoal bbq and porch swingperfect for watching the wildlife. The large, full,kitchen has all cookware, utensils, condiments, staples, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. Linens are providedPets (dogs horseback riding in summer, cross country skiing in winter, and hiking trails. This is the only large single rental cabin on the south side of Forest Lakes. We provide something the other places don'tPRIVACY and seclusion and we are far enough from the highway so you don't hear any traffic. New rental rulesonly one party per monthcheck calendar for open months. Call for availability, arrangements and rates.
