description:10 Beautiful Acres of Mountains shared by only 3 houses. Enjoy the privacy and Beautiful Mountain Views, yet the convenience of being only 5 minutes from Town/Wal-Mart. While this is listed as a cabin, it is really 1650 square feet of spacious living. This cabin was just built in Dec 2006, so the condition is new. It comes fully furnished with everything you need to stay 1 week, or 1 year. All appliances, including washer/dryer are new. The Master bedroom, dining room, laundry room, guest bathroom, and living room are all located on the first floor. On the second floor are 2 large bedrooms and a large guest bathroom. Outside there are large 8 foot decks around 3 of the four sides of the cabin, and a screen porch. Note: To insure that all of our guests enjoy their time here, our Cabin is always smoke-free and pet-free. We also request a $60 non-refundable cleaning charge, so that we can ensure that our cabin is in tip top condition when our guests arrive. Check-in Time is 4 pm and Check-out time is 11 am (although we will work with you in special situations).

Fall in the Great Smoky Mountains never looked so good as it does from my front porch. Lackey s WNC Mountain Home is just a beautiful home that I live in. I rent it out weekly during the Fall so that others may enjoy the beauty I get to experience all year long. I charge a weekly fee up front and you get to enjoy the home. You have peace and tranquility, are located 45 minutes from the Cherokee Casino, the Great Smoky Mtn. National Park, and the Nantahala Outdoor Center whatever you want. You are one hour from Asheville and 20 minutes from Highlands. North, South, East or West you will see majestic colors in the fall, experience crisp evenings while you sit under the Chestnut tree with a nice fire going outside or just chill out on the front porch and listen to the crickets. I have a little grill outside which works great for a few steaks, ribs or whatever you like. On the crisp Fall mornings, you can sit on the front porch while sipping your coffee and reading the paper and listen to the dew falling on the huge pine, chestnut and walnut trees that surround the entire house. The many birds that make my trees their homes will come and eat from the feeder right on the porch. Of course, there are also the hummingbirds who love to fight over the two hummingbird feeders. You also have total privacy. Watch the cows and horses in the pasture from the front porch, but nobody is around!!!
