description:Beaux Reves is located 10 minutes from Central Healdsburg and less than 5 minutes to Geyserville in Sonoma County Wine Country. The home is set on a knoll, with valley and vineyard views, and quick freeway access. Four bedrooms and Two bathrooms with two stories, beautiful island kitchen, two fireplaces, living room and parlor, huge outdoor area with lawns, carriage house, hot tub, and gardens. As our guests drive up to the gated driveway, they use their 'clicker' to open the gate and drive up to the property. If our guests are interested in boating, the carriage house is more than adequate to store your boat for Lake Sonoma recreation. Two fountains provide nice water rhythms, and gardens and lawns surround the home. Walking through the side door, you enter the dining room and kitchen areas. Beautifully remodelled, the kitchen has high quality appliances, island and family style dining table. These areas adjoin the formal living room which has beautiful sofas and chairs, large flat screen TV, and gas fireplace (which also provides the heat -- very warm!!. To the left of the dining room area is the laundry room with washer and dryer, and further down the hallway is one of the full bathrooms, with shower/tub combo. To the right of the kitchen area is one of the bedrooms with full bed and separately the parlor, with 2nd fireplace, and again, comfy sofas/chairs for conversation, reading, or quiet time. Passed the parlo is the 2nd bedroom, with queen size bed and pillow top mattress (all beds are pillow top mattress). The second story has two additional bedrooms with queen beds and a second modern, updated and remodeled full bathroom with beautiful walk in tile shower. A hot tub completes the setting. This home is perched on a hilltop overlooking the prestigious Dry Creek Valley Vineyards. Dry Creek Road is one of the most popular bike rides in northern California. It loops back just short of lake Sonoma, via Yoakim Bridge Road, and connects with West Dry Creek Road, then back over via Lambert Bridge Road connecting to Dry Creek Road, and back to Wagon Wheel Ranch. You may want to refresh yourself at the Dry Creek Deli before returning to The Wagon Wheel Ranch. Also nearby are many wineries, including Dry Creek Vineyards, Pezzi King, Ferrari Carrano, and Lake Sonoma. Even the wallpapers and trim have been duplicated as exquisite examples of the period. The Hope-Merrill, which Rosalie's research shows to have been the early Stage Coach Stop for the area is no musty museum piece. Comfort and cordiality come unstintingly before gilded wallpaper and fragile glassware. The two homes are inviting, and the little extra touches of hospitality are unmatched. A glass of wine on the porch or in the parlor, brings the day to a quiet end. In the morning, the sounds and scents of a home-cooked country breakfast, make awakening a special pleasure.
