description:The Villa The villa provides lovely accomodation for up to six people and can be found in a quiet area, near Rojales. This is only a few minutes drive from fantastic beaches at Guardamar. The villa is laid out on one floor, although steps down from the road make it unsuitable for infirm guests. The villa is beautifully situated so that there are great views over La Marquesa golf course, and being sited as it is means that it very quiet and extremely restful... exactly what a holiday should be. The solarium offers sun worshippers the chance to really work on the tan, whilst the cooler courtyard provides a great choice for breakfasting. Inside we have provided a cdplayer withradio, together with a TV and satellite, hooked up to all the major TV channels including BBC1 ITV and Sky Sports/Movies. The villa is family owned and we use it as our family holiday location. Rojales is a typical Spanish town with narrow steets, a lively market and a laid back atmosphere. Torrevieja and Alicante are certainly more cosmopolitan (15-30mins drive respectively)whilst Benidorm is only an hour away with the Terramitica theme park. Valencia is around two hours away by car and is a superb city to visit. We strongly suggest car-hire in order to obtain the best from your stay. What's about Although the area is quiet there are a number of top quality restaurants within easy walking disatance. Within a short drive (around 10 minutes) there is a great and varied selection of restaurants, not least of which are some superb local tapas bars. Don't be afraid go and try them! Food features highly and the local markets provide a great atmosphere and experiences. Of course, those with families will love the communal pool only 50m away, and in nearby Quesdaa is an excellent water park. The beaches at Guardamar are stunning and stretch for miles. The sands slope gently into the sparkling waters of the Med so are great for children. One thing to see are the amazing sand sculpture at Playa Centro at Guardamar. There are a number of watersports available in Guardamar, with a greater choice at Torrevieja about 20minutes away. This includes water skiing, and scuba diving. There is a dive school which operates from Quesada Golf The villa is only a 5minute walk away from the club house at La Marquesa Golf. This is a lovely course set in two valleys which come together in the form of a Y. There are plenty of 19th holes to choose from around the edges of the course! Within a short drive are a further four amazing courses and the best is probably the nearest. La Finca at nearby Almoradi is quite spectacular and offers the chance to play on a top quality course. It is part of the Villamartin group with the other two courses being found south of Torrevieja, namely Villamartin and Las Ramblas. Very close to these is Real Club de Campoamar. To the north is Montefore del Cid and another great course at Alicante designed by Severiano Ballesteros. The golfer is not short of places to play and all are of a good standard. With a garden area at the front, courtyard to shelter from the sun, and a fantastic rooftop solarium to work on your tan, there is masses of outdoor space to enjoy the property to the full. We have provided useful items for the family beach holiday including a beach tent with high UV, buckets, spades, footballs and other beach toys, together with a cool bag for snacks and drinks on the beach or day trip. All bed linen is provided, but we request you bring your own towels. Accomodation is based on two twin rooms and a double bed-settee.;

The lounge and dining area is tastefully furnished and we have installed satellite TV showing all the favourite channels. The lounge leads out onto the balcony which has a lovely sea view. Extras included Other extras to help make your stay more comfortable include a video player, small selection of children?s toys, beach equipment including children?s body boards and should you need it there is an washing machine, iron and ironing board.Bath towels and bed linen are all provided so you only need to bring your towels for the beach! A welcome pack of essentials can be provided if required and transport to and from the airport can also be arranged, these will need to be paid locally. Lovely area Guardamar is the closest town to the apartment and is one of the most attractive towns in the area. It is surrounded by pine, palm and eucalyptus trees, which were planted to prevent erosion of the superb beach. Guardamar has many fine restaurants, tapas bars and cafes to offer as well as a good selection of shops and an excellent, very popular market on Wednesdays that sprawls some of the town?s roads. Guardamar can be reached in 5 mins by car or bus, which leaves every hour just a short walk from the apartment. You can also make the popular walk either along ?lemon lane?, a small lane through lemon groves, or along the beach, which takes approx 20 mins to reach the nearest restaurants. Guests using the apartment usually return with fond memories of Guardamar. Small selection of childrens toys, beach toys and body boards for use at apartment. Balcony furniture provided. description:Location The areaLos Montesinos is a residential area about 30 minutes drive south of Alicante Airport on Spain's Costa Blanca. The villa is situated just a 5 minute walk from the nearest bars and restaurants and a 10 - 15 minute drive to the main town of Torrevieja with a multitude of bars and restaurents (English, Spanish, German, Chinese and Italian). Far enough away though to get a peaceful nights sleep. Guardamar beach is only a 10 minute car drive. There are tennis courts, bowling club, snooker club and a sports complex. Also, a large market operating on Sundays and Thursdays, 3 large supermarkets, internet cafes, doctor's surgery, pharmacy, 3 banks and a tourist information centre. A car is not essential as there is a local bus service to the nearest main towns and a service to the beach during the summer months. But hiring a car does help to get around and fully appreciate the area so why not try www.carjet.com or www.aquacar.net for a quote. There are a number of taxis available in the area and our local agent can arrange to collect you from the airport if required. AccommodationWe moved into the villa in November 2005, use it as our own holiday home and hope to retire there in a few years time. We fell in love with the design of the villa and the sheer feeling of openness it gave us. It comfortably sleeps 8 and has a large lounge/dining area, separate kitchen, twin bedroom and small shower/toilet on the ground floor. The master bedroom on the first floor has a king size bed and leads onto its own balcony through patio doors to enable you to enjoy your morning coffee in the warm sunshine. A further twin bedroom and full bathroom are also situated on this floor with access up the next stairway leading to a full size roof solarium. All 3 bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The villa boasts it's own gated driveway at the front for parking and has a front and side garden. The front porch, and roof top solarium have patio furniture, a large table with six chairs (great for entertaining) and an expanding clothes dryer for the solarium. The Kitchen is fully fitted with washer, fridge, hob, full oven and microwave and the living area has cable TV with all your main British channels and multi sports and movie channels, DVD and a CD player. towels and bedding are provided but not beach towels. The development enjoys the use of a communal swimming pool, childrens pool area and sun bathing area which is situated immediately in front of the villa. (this is handy to keep an eye on the children from the villa). Arriving late? You can prebook a Welcome Pack (through the owner) with the items you request, payable to our local agent by you on arrival, plus a 5 euros charge. Notice required for this service. There are no additional costs involved with this booking as the rental cost includes your final clean. Air conditioning is installed in the 3 bedrooms and living area. BeachesCosta Blanca beaches have a good record - over 30 have been awarded EU 2 blue flag standards for cleanliness, safety and amenities - more than any other coast. Busy beaches have lifeguards, Red Cross posts and sometimes rescue boats. All the beaches have soft white sand with very clear seawater. The further north you go the beaches are rocky but as you come south they become smooth. There are sun beds available for hire. Car parking is free as it is on most of the other beaches in the area. GUARDAMAR beach has a long stretch of clean soft sand with some bars and restaurants along the paved walkway.
