description:Come enjoy a peaceful week in our fabulous and comfortable house on beautiful Emerald Lake. The water is pristine, spring-fed and well stocked with trout and other fish. Watch the sunset from our lakeside deck, sun yourself on the floating dock, or enjoy the screened-in porch. The house has over 2200 square feet of living space with lots of room to find privacy. It has a large 24 x 24 foot living room with a wood burning fireplace and two very comfortable couches. There is a 30 Wide-screen High Definition television in the living room with cable and DVD/VCR. There's also a very nice stereo with wireless speakers that can be placed in different rooms or taken outside. The family room downstairs has another wood burning fireplace, a 20 television, vcr/dvd player and lots of toys and games to keep the kids entertained and out of your hair!! The kitchen is nicely equipped, including pots and pans, utensils, and a wide variety of spices. The attached dining room comfortably seats 10. There are three adult bedrooms with queen beds, the master bedroom is enormous, with a walk-in closet that you could even put a crib in and huge picture windows with sliding doors that lead out to the upper deck. Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee from here. The guest room also has a lake view and a large walk-in closet. Downstairs is the third adult bedroom as well as a bunk bed room for the kids and two portacribs. Outside enjoy a small yard in which to play games, relax on the deck, snooze in the hammock or enjoy the bubbling hot tub with a great view of the lake!. The lake is 50 acres and doesn't allow motor boats (little fishing motors are okay) so swim, boat, fish or just float around and relax. More photos of the property can be provided upon request.

description:Stone Bridge Farm B & B is located on a quiet, scenic, historic road with 322 acres of fields, woods and nearly a mile of a state stocked trout stream. We have recently opened a guest wing featuring two beautifully renovated bedrooms with private baths and the flexibility of a small but well equipped kitchen. There is a comfortable sofa for relaxing, reading or playing one of the many board games in the game closet. These second floor rooms have a separate entrance from the main house adding to your sense of privacy while enjoying the convenience and comforts of a Bed and Breakfast. A hearty full breakfast is served with silver and fine china. Organic freshly roasted coffee and organic green and black teas offered. In house massages can be arranged.

description:Situated on cove to Emerald Lake in Hillsboro, New Hampshire. The enclosed screen/glass porch has a nice view of the cove leading into the 45 acre lake. Take a paddle in our two canoes, fish for the annually stocked trout and bass, take a hike on the nearby State Forest trails (1,245 acre forest), or enjoy the sandy beach. Swimming is best enjoyed at the community beach which is only a 5 minute canoe ride or walk away. (The lake has a 5hp engine speed limit) With only 25 minutes to Keene or Concord there's plenty to do in the area. Visit Franklin Pierce's Homestead (14th President USA), go the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium, explore the many mountains and hiking trails in the Monadnock area, go antiquing galore, visit country auctions and fairs, lots more to do. Many gorgeous backroads for leaf peaping in the fall. Explore the 1,245 acre Fox Forest State Park in walking distance of the cottage. Or use our cottage as a base for hunting. The cottage has a kitchen, living room with woodstove, forced hot air heat, screened porch and three bedrooms.

description:The Stone Bridge Farm was the home of Captain Nathaniel Carr, a successful (and later convicted) counterfeiter who built this brick federal home in 1826. (In the kitchen there is a beam with his signature on it.) Captain Carr, who served in the War of 1812, was also instrumental in getting the Town of Hillsborough to build the stone bridge named 'Old Carr Bridge' just down the road. This bridge is an amazing feat of stone craftsmanship, built completely without mortar, just carefully cut and fit granite. After Captain Carr's conviction and imprisonment the home passed to the Jones family for which it stayed until 1926 when the Judd family purchased it for lumbering purposes. Herbert and Eleanor Judd purchased the home from the family in 1954 and began renovating and modernizing. The Rands purchased the Stone Bridge Farm in 2002 and renovated the wooden ell creating two Bed & Breakfast rooms, each with private baths on the second floor.
