The lake home is located in Lake County, Stoney River Township on North McDougal Lake, part of a chain of three lakes covering 849 acres. The property has 210 feet of shoreline at the southeast corner of the lake. The McDougal Lakes area is very quiet so jet skis, ATV's or large motor boats are out of character. However, canoes, kayaks, and fishing boats fit right in. A canoe is provided so you can explore the lake and Stoney River. Or, bring your own boat. There is a concrete-base boat landing 3 miles from the cabin and you can keep it at the dock on the property. Watch the Chickadees, Nuthatches, Canadian Jays, and Humming Birds at the feeders. Sometimes the Chickadees, Nuthatches, and Jays will eat right out of your hand. Spacious decks and screened and covered porches allow you to enjoy all parts of the day. Sit in the warm sun with your cup of coffee in the morning, enjoy inviting water views throughout the day, and experience dazzling sunsets and listen to the loons in the evening.
