Whitewater Rafting on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers is in Bingham about 10 miles away, and there is a golf course 10 miles away in Lakewood. ITS Trail is across the street from the house for hiking & mountain biking. Everything is provided except for Sheets & towels, no smoking & no pets (unless prior approval of pet). Embden Pond is 5 Miles by 2 Miles and is one of the 12 Cleanest & Clearest Lakes in New England and is known for its fabulous fishing and beautiful mountain scenery. The lake water is perfect for swimming all over the lake and especially nice in front of our home. You can also fish right off the dock if you wish!;
