description:Les Hirondelles is a converted farmstead nestling in a quiet, sheltered, valley of chestnut and pine forests on the edge of a tiny hamlet in the Ambazac hills. Our two adjoining cottages form part of the old farmstead and have been renovated to provide comfortable self catering accommodation. Named after the barn owl that used to live here, and originally the grain store, La Chouette has been converted into beautiful open plan holiday accommodation. This cottage sleeps 2 ADULTS and 2 CHILDREN. All living accommodation is on the first floor. With vaulted ceilings and the original oak floors, the open plan living area is spanned by an enormous beam fashioned from a single tree trunk! La Chouette has its own private garden to the rear with chestnut and bamboo gazebo for private sunbathing and meals with a view over the surrounding countryside. One of two cottages, La Chouette shares a large garden with 30ft. kidney shaped swimming pool, boules court, table tennis, badminton and childrens swings. There is also a barbecue area here (in addtition to your private barbecues) if you wish to eat by the pool. The pool and garden area is well supplied with garden furniture and sun loungers. Our two adjoining cottages form part of the old farmstead and have been renovated to provide comfortable self catering accommodation. Named after the barn owl that used to live here, and originally the grain store, La Chouette has been converted into beautiful open plan holiday accommodation. This cottage sleeps 2 ADULTS and 2 CHILDREN. All living accommodation is on the first floor. With vaulted ceilings and the original oak floors, the open plan living area is spanned by an enormous beam fashioned from a single tree trunk! La Chouette has its own private garden to the rear with chestnut and bamboo gazebo for private sunbathing and meals with a view over the surrounding countryside. One of two cottages, La Chouette shares a large garden with 30ft. kidney shaped swimming pool, boules court, table tennis, badminton and childrens swings. There is also a barbecue area here (in addtition to your private barbecues) if you wish to eat by the pool. The pool and garden area is well supplied with garden furniture and sun loungers. The hamlet and the surrounding countryside is a perfect place for an evening stroll before dinner, where you can soak up the stunning scenery and the relaxed atmosphere of this tranquil area - one of the few remaining unspoilt areas of the real France.
