description:Oak Tree Villa is a character English owned, 1950's built pool vacation home that has been completely re-decorated and re-furnished. All furniture and linens are new and European in style. However obviously the architectural style reflects the age and charm of the home. It has three bedrooms consisting of a master ensuite with sunken mosaic roman style tub. This room has one King size bed and one day- bed. The master bedroom suite is situated at the opposite end from the other bedrooms allowing for privacy from your other guests. Bed 2 has two twin beds and bed 3 has a queen double with a single bunk above. There is also a double futon in the Florida room. Beds two and 3 share a bathroom and the house will comfortably sleep 8 adults and accomodate 10 with the futon. A travel cot is also available. There is a large kitchen with dishwasher and eating area , a dryer and washer in the utility room. And a dining table that seats 10 in the dining room. The lounge has a vaulted cathedral style ceiling and a 27 tv and multi-region DVD player. Wireless internet access is available. The home comfortably sleeps 8 and will accomodate 10 plus infant. Situated backing right onto the public golf course yet still retains a degree of privacy around the south-facing 30' x 15' pool (unheated)and large secluded gardens. Our spacious home is clean and bright and newly re-decorated and carpeted.

description:The Magnolia Inn was built in 1926 at the height of the Florida boom as the residence of Mr. L. R. Heim. Mr. Heim was very wealthy as a manufacturer of ball bearings in Connecticut and held patents of the Centerless grinder used in their manufacturing. After visiting Mount Dora, he returned in 1924 and purchased what had been Chautaugua Park on the South side of Lake Gertrude and the land to the west that extends to the Golden Triangle Shopping Center today. Mr. Heim started the sub-division called Sylvan Shores, he also helped found the First National Bank being one of its largest stockholders, and in 1929 he personally wrote a check for $50,000 to help the bank survive. Mr. Heim at one time not only owned the town newspaper but donated the street lighting still seen along old #441 on the shore of Lake Dora and the land and stadium known as 'Heim Field Ball Park'.;
