description:A truly romantic get away with lots of privacy. We're in the heart of the Finger Lakes on the east shore of Seneca Lake - located at Caywood Shores. It's just a 15 minute drive to Watkins Glen and within walking distance to Wagner's Winery there will be another beautiful sunset the next evening too.Our Lake House is a new 2 story, 2 bedroom, single bath vacation house with room for 4 guests maximum. We're best suited for adults for safety reasons. Cook in our fully equipped kitchen or dine at one of our nearby reasonably priced restaurants. The restaurants range from funky to elegant dining. And as always, all area restaurants have casual dress.We're furnished with everything you will need to enjoy your vacation. We have wood and tile on the first floor, and two carpeted bedrooms on the second. Our lake house has cathedral ceilings with full glass overlooking Seneca Lake. To keep you comfortable, we have a gas fireplace, AC, and ceiling fans. At the beach there is a firepit, picnic table, beach house, a canoe, and two new beautiful docks. Mooring is available for small boats. You can walk down the beautiful multi-decked stairs or drive to the beach. We have several decks for full sun or shade. The daylight basement apartment's living room also has a double futon which can easily serve as a 6th bedroom.In addition to the bedrooms, with king, queen and double sized beds, the living rooms have large futons and a spare mattrass so the house sleeps up to 21 if needed. (But if you come alone or as a couple, the place is still fabulous and affordable I used to live there year round).Note that the house has 12 beds, some single, some double, queen and king, including a few futons and one floor matras. The number of bedrooms is 5 plus two spacious livings rooms where the futons are located for large groups.
