description:Our holiday home is on the edge of Lake Rotoiti, close to Rotorua. It has simply the most incredible view over the lake and surrounding hills. It is on two levels with upstairs comprising very large open plan living/dining/kitchen area plus the master bedroom with dressing room and fully tiled en suite bathroom. Both Living area and upstairs bedroom have floor to ceiling, wall to wall glass- you can watch the sun rise over the lake and hills from your bed, and both open through sliding doors onto a large patio deck with BBQ and outdoor furniture. Downstairs there are three further bedrooms and the main bathroom (includes a double indoor/outdoor jacuzzi bath with a great lake view) The house has a huge parking area and a big garage/workshop with table tennis, and it is set in a quarter acre fully landscaped garden of trees and lawns to the lake edge, where there is a shared jetty, private sandy beach and big BBQ area. On the beach are a 12 foot sailing catamaran and a 13 foot dinghy with oars and outboard motor for your use. Lifejackets and trout fishing gear are included- Lake Rotoiti is said to hold the biggest trophy trout in NZ (although my best so far was tiny at only 8lbs!)
