description:Beautiful beachfront condo, western view of Puget Sound, Olympic mts., several islands and ferry boats. The building is small with only 3 units, mine is the one directly on the beach. sleeps 1-6 with 2 baths. Firepit, bbq, walks on the beach as you beachcomb for treasures. One of the most unique aspects of my property is that it is directly on the beach where the tide never comes all the way in so you can ALWAYS enjoy the beach. The water never comes up to the deck. There is always beach access. Within minutes of arriving, you feel calm and serene as you listen to the waves and gulls. Just 4 houses down from the lighthouse. It is in lee (shelter) of Alki Point so the marine winds do not blow there. It is always calm and warm, degrees higher than around the point where the north wind blows cool marine air across the water and directly onto the beach. Nice big, private deck to enjoy as you watch the sunsets, gulls, boats, or linger over a leisurely meal. Gas grill,Kayak and row boat for use.

The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing the fresh seafood you bought at the Pike Place Market. Or fire up the gas barbecue just outside the French doors. Eat on the deck after appetizers and conversation in the shady vine-covered arbor down the stairs on a beautiful summer Seattle evening. After dinner, cross East Madison Street to stroll the Washington Park Arboretum. The third floor features master suite, with soaking tub, and separate library/office. On the first floor, the second bedroom is really a second master suite, with its walk-in closet and full bath. There is also a common room with a pulldown Murphy bed. You can't beat this tranquil, relaxed setting!

description:If you're coming for a vacation in Seattle, stay at Saint John's Apartments! Our two bedroom, number 304, is perfect for one or two couples or a family on vacation. There is one master bedroom, a smaller second bedroom, and a really comfortable living/dining/kitchen space. St John's was built in 1910. It is a charming old building. There are two floors of apartments over several retail spaces at street level. 304 is on the top floor and has a great view of Pike Street below. The apartment was fully remodeled this last December, with new paint, carpets and kitchen cabinets. The kitchen is small-it takes the length of one wall-but it works really well. There is a dining table seating four, and next to that a small living area with couch and large stuffed chair. We have a TV with DVD and VCR and an extensive movie collection, CD Stereo and large, eclectic collection of music. The apartment has cable TV and high speed internet. The master bedroom is on the corner of the building, with windows looking out on Pike and Harvard. It has a California king bed (it's 6 longer than a regular king size bed...great for tall people.) The second bedroom has a trundle bed in it. The trundle stores one mattress under the other, so when there is only one person in the room there is only one bed, when there are two there can be two single beds. We can also put the two single beds together, when a couple is using them and wants to snuggle. Our parking lot is right behind building. Parking costs an additional $10 daily. There is a sunny back deck that all the residents in the building share, with lounge chairs and a gas barbecue. And we have full time manager living in the building who will be glad to help if you have any difficulties.

description:Come spend the week at our fully furnished nautical home located a 10 minute walk from Alki Beach and a 1/2 block from a small secluded beach on Beach drive. The nautical theme begins as you enter the yard and you see the large flag pole made from an old boat mast. As you climb the stairs to the second floor you will notice the rails made from row boat oars. Throughout the house you will find pictures of various kinds of boats. Start off your day with coffee on your front or private back deck abutting a green bank. You can prepare your own breakfast in the fully furnished kitchen or take a short walk to Alki Beach to enjoy one of the many restaurants there. Relax in the living room with a good book or go explore around Seattle. After a day of taking in the sights come back to the captain's house to enjoy the sunset from the second story of our home. Sleep peacefully in one of the three bedrooms. Two bedrooms are on the second floor and one bedroom is on the first floor. The second floor bedrooms have a queen size bed and a twin bed. The first floor bedroom has a double bed. All linen and towels are provided. A local caretaker of the home is available to answer any questions about the area or provide assistance with the home.
