All of Umbria stretches out below you from the windows. Owned by an Italian painter in the early 20th century who decorated the ceilings of the majestic buildings in the square and then by a great Pulitzer-prize poet, the apartment still keeps the charm of the Roman and Medieval times: the nice large outdoor landing in front of the main door where you can sit and enjoy the view of a typical Medieval street and courtyard, the old arches, vaults and Roman well in the basement, the imposing century-old wooden beams and terracotta tiles of the ceilings and floors. People love the apartment not only for its charm but also for its privacy while being so close to the square. The apartment and the whole house were restored in 2006 by retrieving all original materials, such as terracotta tiles on the floors, massive wooden beams on the ceilings, stone walls, stone fireplace. ;
