It is located in the picturesque New England town of Whitefield where you can find pancake breakfasts in the summer, movies for the kids anytime, and the famous eatery, Grandma's Kitchen, featured in Town and Leisure magazine. Whitefield is located near numerous northern New Hampshire attractions. For the kids (and bigger people, too!) we have Storyland, Six Gun City, and water slides. Mount Washington is 26 miles away. Climb it on foot, by the Cog rail road, or by car. Ski on Loon Mountain (38 miles), Attitash (35 miles), Cannon (25 miles), or Bretton Woods (15 miles), but pay only a fraction of the lodging cost. Hike some of New Hampshire's 48 four thousand-foot mountains. Go antiquing, scout bargains at numerous outlet shops, including L.L. Bean. Or just kick back and watch the play of light on Mirror Lake while sipping your favorite brew. Sonia sleeps 5. description:Our cottage, named Sylvia, is a cozy and inviting place to spend your NH vacation. Enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and GORGEOUS views, right outside the door. At night, join in on the bonfire with the neighbors and fellow renters and gaze at the stars. The cottage has a double bed in the bedroom, the couch in the living room folds out to a double bed, there are two twin beds up in the sleeping loft as well as a queen size futon mattress in the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped (there is a small table that seats two, we recommend sitting there for your morning coffee, you can't beat the view!), cable television, a VCR and many board & card games. There is a picnic table, adirondack chairs and a charcoal grill for your use. ;
